Bay shrugged. "It was a thought." Kenny laughed. "It's a good thought."
"It's a great thought, but I need all my focus."

That sobered both of them. "You still think there might be trouble," accused Kenny.

"There's always a chance."

"Can't you text him or something? Make sure he's okay?"

"I'll try, okay?" He wasn't sure it was a good idea, but it was something he could do, something to...

The door opened, then closed, Simon right there. "You guys ready? I have the truck packed."

Rick stood, held the boys back. "You're injured."

"Grazed. I'll live." There was blood and Simon was a little pale, but he’d never looked so good.

Kenny struggled to get to Simon, trying to get away from him.. "Let me go, Rick!"
He held on until Simon nodded, one arm held out. "C'mere, Kenny."

Kenny flew into Simon, keeping to the uninjured side. "I thought you were dead!"

"Sorry, kiddo. I had to do it."

Kenny buried his face in Simon's neck, his shoulders shaking suspiciously. Bay made a soft noise and pressed against him.

"I got you, Kenny. We're going to go. You, me, Bay, Rick -
- we'll get the fuck off this merry-go-round and have lives. You want to?"

"We were waiting for you so we could go escape to the Bahamas." Kenny reached up and kissed Simon. "And don't you ever scare us like that again."

"I'll do my best." Simon's eyes met his, the look hot, worried.

Bay vibrated next to him. "Can we go now? Go away where no one can find us again?"

Rick nodded. The twins had funds, so did they, and the whole plan had been to retire anyway. Now they were retiring together.

He couldn't stop looking at Simon. He wouldn't kiss the man, because he wouldn't be able to stop, and they needed to head south. Head south together and then hop a plane.
The four of them were going to get out of here and be free. They all deserved it.

It was Bay who got them moving, tugging his hand. "Let's go. Let's go right now."

Simon nodded. "There's a truck. You drive, baby."

Rick nodded. "You got it, old man. As far as we can go."
Epilogue

The sun shone down on Bay, warming him, baking him. It felt so good. It was even better being able to lie here for as long as he wanted and to know that tomorrow would be more of the same.

Bay flipped over onto his stomach and called out. "Hey! I need someone to rub lotion into my back." Then he closed his eyes, smiled and waited to see what pair of hands touched him. It didn’t matter, really, he was happy to have it be any of the three of them.

Strong, square hands landed on his shoulders, the touches becoming a massage immediately.

Simon.

Bay dropped his head and moaned happily. "Feels good." "You look good, Bay. Tanned and happy."
He half turned and smiled back at Simon. "Yeah. You look
pretty good, too." He reached out to touch Simon’s scar. The mark was long and ragged, marring the man's shoulder. Proof that Simon loved them. All of them. He traced it gently and then shifted so he could kiss it.

"Love you," he said softly, looking up into Simon's eyes.

"Yeah?" Simon kissed him, slowly and thoroughly, stealing his breath. "Good."

"Yeah, it is." He smiled and turned completely, pushing up against Simon's strong muscles. Their kiss deepened and
lasted for awhile. His tongue slid alongside Simon's, the strong body pushed him into the sand.

He could hear Kenny and Rick laughing, running down toward the water. The two men had found a love of snorkeling that almost was as strong as his love of basking in the sun. They spent a lot of time together in the water, coming back animated and full of stories about what they’d seen, what they’d found under the water.

Bay turned to watch them for a moment, admiring their asses as they ran and then pushed back up against Simon. "We are so lucky."

"Happy, kiddo?" Simon settled back with him, relaxed, warm. Things were easier here -- they left the islands to contact their father now and then and Simon and Rick had each other and them. It was the best home they'd ever had.

"Yeah. More than I've ever been." He smiled. "Kenny, too. I've never seen him relax like this and enjoy it." Kenny had never been happy unless he was partying, high, driving fast cars. Here, though, Kenny had been able to relax, soften a little.

"He needed it." Bay thought Simon was Kenny's biggest supporter. It meant he’d always have a soft spot in his own heart for the man.

"He needed you and Rick." He and his twin were closer than any other two human beings on earth, but Kenny needed someone like Rick and Simon, too. Kenny needed men like them to love him.
Simon nodded, one hand on his belly. "It's a good thing, Bay. All of us."

He nodded. "I never knew I could love so many people so much."

His hip got a quick, almost gentle pinch. "Of all of us, you were the one I knew would have the biggest heart."

Bay jerked and then pushed back against Simon with a soft laugh. "You mean I'm the biggest softie."

"You know it, man." Simon's chuckle wasn't mean, not at all.

He curled in, leaning up to kiss that wonderful sound right out of Simon's mouth.

"Don't steal all his kisses!" he heard, Kenny's voice almost drowned out by the waves. "We'll all need some."

He smiled, loving the way Simon's mouth felt against his. The man had more than enough kisses for all of them and then some.

His arms wrapped around Simon's shoulders, holding onto one strong corner of home and safety and love.

The sun shone down on him, on his Kenny. On their security.
