As the fireworks slowly died down and the crowd erupted in an array of applause and
exclamations of happiness, Jenn and Gerard were just beginning the heat of their excitement.

Gerard turned her around to face him.  He kissed her passionately, “Let’s get out of here.” He quickly kissed her again, grabbed hold of her hand, with one hand, grabbed her drink with the other and put it down on the table.

Gerard shook hands and said goodbye to his friends and Jenn waved goodbye, as Gerard almost swooped her into the elevator.

Gerard turned to the elevator attendant, “Can you please call the car around?”

“Yes, of course Mr. Gerard.”

‘How did she know his name?’
Jenn thought.

It was just the two of them and the bell boy in the elevator.  The bell boy looked straight ahead and didn’t say anything.
Jenn and Gerard leaned against the back of the elevator; Gerard’s hand moved from her hip down to her hard, round cheek and me massaged it.

Jenn
could feel her knees get weak, but she held herself up with all her strength and smiled broadly reveling in the illicit PDA.  Gerard maintained a blank look on his face as though he was oblivious to his hand’s movements.

Jenn
played along; she arched her back just slightly, moving herself into Gerard’s hand just a little bit more, and bit her lower lip.  Gerard squeezed her hard and shuffled his feet.  There was an obvious discomfort growing in his pants. He couldn’t keep his straight face on any longer, and that sly smirk crossed his face again.

Jenn
leaned in close to him, “having trouble controlling yourself? Mr. Gerard?”

Gerard smiled
embarrassingly; he spanked Jenn playfully and proceeded to adjust himself through his pockets.

The elevator stopped and the doors
pulled open.  Gerard extended his elbow for Jenn to hold on to as he escorted her to the car.

The car pulled up just as they exited the building.  They hurried into the back of the car.

“Home please.” Gerard said to the chauffer.

Jenn
went through her purse looking for a mirror as Gerard pulled out his phone and sent a quick text.

Jenn
put her mirror away and put her hand back into Gerard’s.  “If I forget to say it later, thanks for today, and especially for tonight. I had such a great time, the best I’ve had since I can remember.”

Gerard lifted her hand to his lips and kissed her.  “You’re worth this and more.”

Jenn snuggled in close to Gerard’s chest.  Within seconds a downpour of rain hit the windshield and drenched the road in front in a sheet of water.  The sound of the heavy raindrops against the frame and windshield of the car created a natural soundtrack to their intimate moment.

Gerard tilted
Jenn’s face up to his and kissed her gently on the lips.  The rain came down in sheets pounding against the car and the road, but to Jenn it sounded as soft as a flower petal gliding to the ground.  Her ears were ringing and her legs were weak. She could feel herself getting aroused.

They got to the apartments in a few minutes and ran inside before the rain could soak them.  They walked past the front desk where Vincent greeted them again,

“Good Evening Mr.Gerard, Ms.Jennifer.” He looked at Gerard, “It’s done sir.”

Jenn
wondered, ‘what’s done?’  But before she could ask, she found herself wrapped up in Gerard and making out in the elevator like a couple of teenagers.

The elevator dinged when they got to their floor.
They regained composure and walked somewhat briskly to the apartment door.  Gerard opened the door, and Jenn walked in first.  All the lights were turned off and candles were placed sporadically throughout the apartment.  The candles reflected off the windows that were covered in a patterned illusion of movement from the pouring rain.

The scene literally took
Jenn’s breath away and she gasped with the beauty of it.

Gerard came up behind her and held her close to him again. “I thought we could do with a little mood lighting.”

They made passionate ecstasy that night, first against the window with the cold panes against Jenn’s back and pure erotic heat in front of her. Then in the bedroom where there were even more candles, and rose petals on the floor.  Then in the kitchen, when they thought they could take a break and get a bite to eat but got distracted by the yearning for each other’s bodies.

The next morning when
Jenn woke up, Gerard was already awake and putting away the candles.  She sat up in bed, “Goodmorning handsome.”

Gerard walked over to her, he was just wearing his boxers but he did look handsome. “Good
morning sweatheart.  Did you sleep well.”

Jenn
nodded yes.

“Coffee?” asked Gerard.

“Yes please” and he walked to the kitchen to fix her a cup.  He came back a few seconds later with a steaming hot cup of coffee.

Jenn, I have to tell you something. I haven’t been completely honest with you.”

Before she had time to think, she found herself blurting out, “I knew it! I knew this was all too good to be true. I should have listened to my head and kept my legs closed.  What was I thinking
?! I only knew you for a few hours!”  Jenn looked as enraged as she sounded.  She put her coffee down on the end table and wrapped the bed sheet around herself as she went through the pile of clothes looking for a tshirt.

Gerard laughed amusingly and came up behind her and hugged her. “Wow I thought I saw my share of fireworks last night!”

Jenn pushed him off, “hmph.” She pulled the tshirt over her head and pulled the shorts up.

“Will you relax
Jenn?!  Sit down so I can explain things.”  He took her by the hand and sat her down on the bed.  Jenn was still angry, but Gerard managed to kiss her deeply disgruntled face.

I have a few confessions. The truth is this is my apartment, and by that I mean that I own Mandalay Apartments.  I also own a few other buildings in Singapore, and am an investor with the club at Mariana Bay. Those people we met last night, those were my associates and business partners.  The fireworks were the end to staff appreciation week for all my staff.  They were also at the club last night.”

Jenn
was dumbfounded.  She didn’t know what to say.  It suddenly dawned on her, Gerard must we worth a fortune!

“Simon’s been staying with me for the past little while actually.  He’s going through some stuff right now, and has been staying with me for the past few months.
He told me you were coming and felt kind of down, so I suggested this rouse.  I wasn’t expecting you to be so enticing.”

Jenn’s
heart melted, how sweet of him to help out a friend like that, even for appearances sake.  Jenn smiled and pecked him on the lips.

“So why are you telling me this?  You could have kept up appearances for the next two weeks and I would have gone back to London none the wiser.”

“That’s just it.  I don’t want you to just go back to London.  I wasn’t lying yesterday when I told you I really like you.  I’ve never met someone so vivacious, sexy, and undeniably intelligent.  I’m serious about you and I want you to be in my life for more than just these two weeks.”

Jenn’s
mind was racing with thoughts of a long distance relationship, 12 hour flights, phone conversations at opposite ends of the day… ‘how on earth could this work?’ she thought.  ‘Between my busy work life and living on different sides of the world, how could this possibly work?’

Jenn
rested her hand on his thigh, “Gerard, have you thought about how this could work? I mean we’d be so far away from each other.  I can’t exactly leave my job and come here. And I won’t expect that you would either.”

“Let’s think about that when the time comes.
For now, I want to enjoy two weeks with you.  Now that you know who I am, I can spoil you to no end with the most luxurious vacation that you could dream of.”

Okay.  We can do that,” replied Jenn.

Over the next two weeks
Jenn opened herself up to every emotion of passion and love that Gerard drew out of her.  For the first time in her life she said the words ‘I love you’ and truly felt them as she said them back to him after a night of passionate sex.

He doted on her in the most romantic way.  He took her on the company boat and they made love in the middle of the ocean.
He took her to one of his luxury hotels where he arranged to have the spa cleared out for their own private use.  They spent the day in couples massages and steam showers.

He took her to some of Singapore’s fanciest restaurants and some of the cheapest but most delectable local favourites.
The spent most nights enjoying his private rooftop garden atop the Mandalay, looking out at the stars.

Near the end of the two weeks they had created so many memories to hold onto.   Gerard revealed to
Jenn that he had a private plane and regularly flew out the London for business.  Some of his partners and joint investors were from London so he was there at least every few weeks.  He was used to the commute and treated it almost like an extended train journey into work.  It raised the possibility of them seeing each other more often than Jenn had originally assumed.

Gerard told her about his flat in Chelsea
where he stayed while on business, which coincidently wasn’t too far from her own.  He explained that part of the reason that he wasn’t seen around campus so much during his University days was because he was creating his business during that time.  He spent a lot of time travelling from Sussex to London to pitch his ideas to investors.  By the time he had graduated he had bought his first commercial building in Singapore.

By the end of the two weeks they had indulged in a world wind romance and were looking forward to the start of a long distance relationship.
Jenn was beginning to feel the love she had been waiting for and deserved.  Gerard was not only an amazing person to be around, his drive and success was inspiring to Jenn.  He worked as passionately as he played and Jenn could finally relate to someone as driven as herself.

Jenn
had waited five years for a vacation like this, but she had waited for a lifetime for a love like Gerard’s.

As she lay in Gerard’s arms on the last night she was there, she thought to
herself, ‘we could do this.’
